Again, there are many opportunities to do this throughout the game, starting with the vines behind the vertical metal stand you set the talisman into shortly after picking it up. Just stand in the middle of the vines after they’ve withdrawn until the talisman runs out of energy and turns red, and the vines will close in and strangle you, giving you a game over screen. However, the talisman runs out of energy over time, fading from blue to red.

In the ruins after the submarine ride, you’ll eventually pick up a portable crystal talisman that you can charge at the glowing blue obelisks and equip to make the poisonous vines retreat.

When you’re in control of the submarine, just smash it into some walls at full speed. There are many opportunities to do this throughout the game, starting with the very first time you encounter the plants, after getting off the Link Elevator beneath the base and picking up the first axe you find. After enough cuts, you’ll black out and get a game over screen. Tap on the spiral on No Man’s hand to return to the Apartment.Use an axe to repeatedly cut at the blue poisonous vines, rather than getting them to retreat by shining light on them. Look at the person sitting on the rock near the centre of the screen. At the end of the cave, you’ll find yourself in a cavern. If you can’t find it, hug the western wall as you go.Įnter the cave and go straight inwards. When the camera becomes top-down, go north and then west to find a cave opening. On the screen after that, tap on the big dark leaf to the right of the dung balls, to reveal another pair of footsteps.Īfter No Man enters the forest, go past the river. On the next screen, move the leaves to the upper-left to find the next set of footsteps. Hover over the big lighter-coloured leaf in the centre of the screen to reveal some more footsteps. Now follow the footsteps to the right, until after the title of the level is shown. Drag the galaxy and spin it in circles like you did in a previous level, until the cutscene plays.
